Palau February Update

Hello!

How's 2023 treating you so far? We hope you're doing well. This email is an update on Palau's progress, and if you're receiving this, it's because we think you could be a great investor for Palau or we want to keep you in the loop. We will send out these updates monthly until we reach the moon 🤗.

App Traction:

• We've experienced a 15.2% growth in our user base since January, with 1136 user sessions and 1333 products scanned.📈

• After our successful pivot, Palau now has its first-ever paying users this month!💰

Database:

• This month, we added about 9000 new vegan products to our database. This is a big deal because getting accurate LCA data for new vegan products is challenging.🌱

• Theo and Simon added a new automated system that lets us update our database daily.

App update:

• Our two new subscription models have passed our UAT and have been successfully live in our app for the last two weeks.🎉

Partnership:

• We have an exciting new partnership lined up for our launch in the U.S. next fall! We can't share the details just yet, but we're adding two pictures of their work so you can guess :)🐊 Photos: Robin Moore 🐅

Feedback loops:

• Grayson added two new platforms to our testing framework, allowing us to test new concepts much faster and more quantitatively and qualitatively.🧪

• Toby implemented Expo Go, which means we can have instant app updates rather than going through the 2-3 app-store process.📲

Marketing channels:

• TikTok continues to be our fastest and easiest way to get downloads. We've had 450 downloads from TikTok this month.

Run-Rate:

• We are still managing to move forward with a monthly budget under 6k total! 💸
